(Win8 / win10) The Boot Configuration Data File Is Missing Some Required Information

Windows 8 / Windows 10 - Error "The Boot Configuration Data File is missing some required information"

To fix the above Error, you must have a Windows 8/10 installation disk (usb/dvd).

1. Boot the installation disk
2. Click "Repair" your computer
3. Click "Troubleshoot" button
4. Click "Advanced option" button
5. Click "Command Prompt" button
6.  Once the cmd opened, enter "bcdboot c:\windows"  (note: without qoutes;c:\ is where your windows folder located)
7. Reboot the computer
